A half dozen members of the Ram boys track and field team traveled to Lamoni March 22 for the Jenner Indoor Invitational at Graceland University.
Colby Kafer set three Ram indoor meet records and personal records. In the record books are his long jump of 20′ 5″, good for second place; his time of 24.42 seconds in the 200m dash, good for third place; and his time of 6.94 seconds in the 55m dash, good for fourth place.
Freshmen Jackson Morton and Jaxon Warnke ran the 55m high hurdles for the first time and both three-stepped all five hurdles. Morton placed fifth in .3875 seconds, and Warnke posted a time of 9.67 seconds.
Other distances and times were: long jump – John Rosado, 18′ 3/4″ and Bryce Stalder, 16′ 11-3/4′; 55m – Daniel Rivera, 7.58 seconds and 7.62 seconds, and Rosado, 7.33 seconds; 200m dash – Rivera, 27.23 (PR); and distance medley relay – Rosado, Stalder, Warnke and Morton, 4:21.45.
